Honesty.

How we are REALLY feeling about our super exciting news ...

This is just too funny not to post. Yep, we're a bit terrified as well. Surely I can't be alone though, right?

Hahahaha! I love it. And it's nice to hear such an honest reaction. Mainly because having a baby is the most terrifying thing that has ever happened to me. It's also the most wonderful, but scary as hell. Welcome to parenthood...it stays scary forever. :)

I am afraid to say, that it is the teen years that will definitely make you feel that way! ;-)

P.S. You and Jake will be great parents.

Kara! Dude - you are not alone. Anyone that tells you that they aren't scared about childrearing/bearing are either 1) lying, b) too stupid to understand the adventure they're about to go on, or 3) lying. I guess they could be in denial, too. I cried for 2 days when I found out Berkeley was coming, but the Lord is faithful and she's awesome and wonderfully weird and I can't imagine life without her, or Ferris now, too! You guys will be such amazing parents. Can't wait to meet your offspring.
