Honey Butter Glazed Pork Tenderloin

This meal was SO freaking good. I suggest you make it very, very soon. It's so easy and so yummy. It would be embarrassing for you me to tell you how much of this I put away last night.

It's funny how sometimes the best dishes have the fewest ingredients.

I had a pork tenderloin sitting in the fridge and had no clue what to do with. Google to the rescue!!

Feast your eyes on the sub-par i phone photos of what I came up with. I wish  you guys could smell through your screen. It would be awesome. Promise.

Honey Butter Glazed Pork Tenderloin
(via Momma's Hen)

4 tbs butter
2 tbs honey
1 1/2 pounds pork tenderloin, trimmed
1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup water
Kara's addition:1 Granny Smith apple

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In an ovenproof pot, heat butter and honey over medium heat until melted.  Sprinkle  pork tenderloin with Cajun seasoning and black pepper.  Brown each side for 5 minutes.

Place pan in oven and roast for 7 - 10 minutes.(This took me WAY longer to reach a healthy 145-160 degrees, probably double the time)  Transfer the pork to a plate covered with foil to rest.
Add water to pan and stir over medium heat.  (Here I added in very thin slices of Granny Smith apple and cooked them down with the sauce). Simmer until sauce is reduced to about 1/2 cup.  Slice pork on the diagonal and drizzle sauce over top to serve.

Enjoy!

What have you made lately that just totally knocked it out of the park?
