Lament...

for the young girls sold into sex slavery during tragedy

Sometimes the depravity of this world is overwhelming

and I get pissed

and then I cry



and then I realize I am no less depraved



and I get pissed (at myself)

and then I cry

because of grace

and

because of mercy


His grace is so far-reaching and so much stronger than I will ever be able to fathom.


And, today I pray for those girls.


I pray that their hearts and minds and emotions and fragile bodies are covered in protection

and that they will be healed from their experience and delivered out of their situation

and that they will be strengthened by the gospel of a faithful and good God.
