Re-Think the Vase and Tweet Tweet!

I'm craving spring.

Spring means fresh flowers.

And, no one says you can only use a vase to hold your fresh cut flowers.

What about a mason jar?

Or a sugar/creamer bowl from your tea set?

Or a pitcher?

What are your favorite "unusual" vases?

In other news, I've joined the land of tweeters...

HELP!

1. I have NO idea what I'm doing!

2. Can someone help me figure out how to get one of those little twitter boxes in my sidebar?

3. You can follow me here: http://twitter.com/inspiredkara

4. Let me know how I can follow you!

Come back and see me!

I think we are all looking forward to spring. My post today was on bringing spring indoors with blooming branches.

Love the mason jar. I also like old french coffee pots, tin buckets and creamers. Lovely tulips. Sorry, not a tweeter. Can't help!

I don't know how to tweet either! I thought for sure we were finally getting some spring--last week I wore short sleeves! But, last night it SNOWED! SO crazy.

I love the mason jar--takes me back to my country roots :)

I've tried all of those except the sugar/creamer. What a great idea!

Last week I used an old milk container and an old creamer to put some buttercups in. I just love unusual containers: http://courtbaker.blogspot.com/2009/02/signs-of-spring.html

I just joined Twitter too. I was so lost at how to get everything linked, blog facebook etc. Is it just me or is all of this social media getting confusing?

A girl after my own heart. I always use odd things to put my grocery store cut flowers in. A blue Mason Jar, a turquoise Fiestaware pitcher, an old milk bottle, a tea pot, a drinking glass set inside a very old coffee tin that's not water-proof and lots more. Vases are boring, in my opinion. But you know what they say about opinions!

Very cute! I have bought tulips a few times now and I am so inept at arranging them. A mason jar is such a great solution since it is casual anyways!
