Caffeinated Inspiration

Don't you love when you walk by something adorable and you almost feel like it is smacking you on the forehead screaming any of the following things....

"YOU CAN MAKE ME!!!!"
"YOU KNOW YOU WANNA"
"HEY CREATIVE GIRL, LOOK HOW ADORABLE AND CUTE I AM...JUST GIVE ME A TRY"

Well it happened.

At Starbucks.

When I laid my eyes on this lil' beauty. . .

Yes my dear readers, it is a wreath made of balls of yarn and ornaments. And i am going to attempt to make one this weekend. I think it can be easily replicated with the following items:

A wreath base of some sort....
Some Ornaments...
Several of these...

And a lot of this...

I can't be the only one who has seen how cute these wreaths are! Have you noticed them?

Wish me luck with my hopeful weekend creation.

Let's get the wreath inspiration juices flowing! What are your favorite ideas for hand-crafted wreaths?

Come back and see me!

~Kara

thanks for the comment on the blog. the itch really is hard to supress! I think the key is in remembering that I want a wedding, not neccessarily a marriage. and those are two very different things.

can't wait to explore your blog.

Did the idea smack in you the face or the wreath itself... cause the thing is huge and gets in your way when you are leaving.

Let's just say when I opened the box I claimed one of those suckers for myself!!!

I haven't tried a handmade wreath like that, but I have been wanting to. A little afraid of the glue gun burns, to be honest. I can't wait to see how yours looks!

Kara, yes! I've seen those too, but didn't notice the yarn part. Hope it turns out great. I have too much other stuff going or I'd try one too. They are cute!
