It would have a cream slipcovered sofa.....
But it would also have one of these worn in leather sofas too.....
There might be a few of these...
I would walk around in wool socks on these kind of floors....
Then snuggle up under a quilt next to this...
With my feet propped up on something like this...
I'd look at my walls and see something along the lines of this...
Then I'd look up, and somehow see this on the ceiling, making me smile...
There'd be lots of these scattered about...
These too....
I'd look out my big picture window and see this...
And I'd fall asleep reading magazines and sipping cider

Wow! that would be a gorgeous room! maybe you should be a designer.... I have no idea what my dream room would look like...that's a tough question...some super comfy couches, a flat screen, but most importantly I would want it all to match..I like matching!

Extremely vaulted, white beadboard ceilings. Dark, walnut, antique, hand scraped floors- installed in a way that would allow them to creak.
A mixture of comfortable, time-worn furniture and some fresh, new pieces. Loads and loads of natural light. (Is there a way to have windows on EVERY wall?) And an OLD, reclaimed fireplace mantle from France, so big you could stand inside of it!

Looks like a great room , I love those floors , I have similar floors in my family room and love them .
I would love a big open living room extra high ceilings , coffered , lots of trim work painted white , wide dark wood floors , lots of room for sofa's a chairs all slipcovered , a big upholstered ottoman , bamboo blinds and simple drapes , lots of very tall windows oh and a fireplace for sure.
Boy you and Linda have me day dreaming today .
