Us girls love the dresses. It's really the only reason I sometimes watch the Academy Awards.
Here are my two favorites, hands down.
I absolutely adored Cate Blanchett's gown. I know everyone is making fun of it looking like a picture frame. I, on the other hand, thing it's quite lovely.
And, my absolute favorite gown of the evening was Marisa Tomei's 1950's vintage gown. STUNNING.

I loved the shape of Miss Kate's and I think she is always gorgeous, but the part I objected to a little was that the beads looked like weird clingon warts. The color and picture-frameness I love though. I also LOVED Mila Kunis' and pretty much everything Anne wore onstage.
