Who knew pie could be so cute?

Since Atnthropologie doesn't offer traditional registry services, I decided to create an online registry for all my favorite Antrho home goods with myregistry.com. It's an incredibly convenient site and you can add items from multiple stores!

Being a girl who LOVES to bake, you better believe when I walked through Anthropologie this weekend and saw this cute little pie set, I added it to our registry right away.

What's a pie bird, you ask?

... a hollow ceramic device, traditionally from Europe and shaped like a bird. Pie birds are steam vents that have been placed in the center of fruit and meat pies during cooking since Victorian Times ... used in baking pies and prevent the pie from boiling over in the oven by allowing the steam created when the fruit filling or other contents are cooking to escape from inside the pie.
