It's Snowing in My House!

I'm cheap. I'm frugal. I like decorating with 99 cent ornaments from Wal Mart.

Here's my recipe for inexpensive and adorable indoor snow:

- A cute Swedish-esque wooden snowflake ornament
- Thread (fishing line might be even better)
-A Curtain Rod

String thread through ornament, hand from rod, enjoy!

In other news. I signed up for my first blog swap over at Foxgloves, Fabric and Folly. It's called "A very vintage Christmas." There are all sorts of goodies in this box for Katrina. It's going in the mail tomorrow. I can't wait for to see what arrives!! Note my attempt to be eco-friendly by packing the goods in with plastic bags :)

I love this time of year! Decorating, baking, Christmas adventures, celebrating advent. Oh dear heavens Christmas puts me in a good mood!

What are you looking forward to in the upcoming weeks?

Come back and see me!
