My Best Friend's DIY Backyard Wedding

I thought you all my be interested in seeing a few (way too many) pics from my best friend's wedding!

Once I get some of the pro shots, I will share because they are AMAZING!!

Warning. This post is picture CA-RAZY, but they are so worth scrolling through. I hope you enjoy!!

Sidenote: Can anyone help me figure out why it is chopping off my pictures and how to fix it?!

This cute little sign greeted you as you walked up on to the property. The wedding was held at the groom's parent's home in Columbia, Tn...
The beautiful bride getting ready. Isn't she stunning?
The "handpicked" feel of the flowers was beautiful, and fit the day just perfectly...
Me and my flowers....
The groomsmen wore suspenders....
And we wore printed dresses from Anthropologie (I was already bawling at this point)
Due to weather they had to get married under a tent. But, it was beautiful and romantic. That is an antique archway and and an antique chandelier hanging from the inside...
The happy couple...just married. Isn't that the cutest backdrop for pictures?
Now onto the party! each table had a different vintage box/planter with flowers...
And each seat had a cute favor of chocolate tea. Scott is starting up his own chocolate company. YUM YUM!
We all ate off of vintage china collected from thrift stores...
The groom is a chef and prepared all the food. How adorable is this menu?!
The food was served on top of vintage, rustic boxes...
And it was all very "organic" looking. I loved it...
There was a fantastic olive and cheese bar...
And take a look at this chandelier made from old silverware. To DIE for!
The drinks were served in big jugs with ladles...
And we drank from mason jars...
We also had fun with a HUGE umbrella...
Because I love a fabulous blog like the rest of em, I want to introduce you to Carolyn, one of the couples friends, she is super crafty, has a marvelous blog and an adorable etsy shop to boot. She also designed the invitations. Go check her out!
Me and my best friend. I love you so much Aria and I'm so thrilled for you!!!!!

To Scott & Aira,

I so enjoyed being a part of your special day. You are both amazing, loving people and I considered myself blessed and honored to have you both in my life. Best of luck in your new adventure together. I love you both. And, hopefully, I'll be down to visit soon!

Wasn't that just about the most adorable wedding of all time?

Come back and see me!

DIY Layered Wedding Programs

Hey everyone!

I'm back! Did you miss me?

As many of you know, my best  friend Aria just got married. And just you wait till I start sharing photographs from her wedding.

But first, I thought I'd clue you in to the wedding programs I made for her. These are SO easy, inexpensive, and ended up looking wonderful. If you are planning an event, I'd be happy to share the template I made up for these. Just shoot me an email.

These are a four-tiered program with a cover, ceremony layout, attendant list, and note from the couple. I simply created four different documents in word, made a quick monogram for the cover. Then, we headed to Kinko's where they were able to print two per page, cut them to the appropriate length and punch! All for about $100 (printing included). I'd call that a steal!

I assembled each pre-cut and punched sheet then stacked them in order, I also cut all my twine and got it ready to go for cute bows. Pizza is a must for any project! :)

Stacked and ready. I purchased the twine from the dollar section at Target.

Here's a finished program...

Then we just cutsified a basket, plopped them in and we were good to go!

And, because everything looks prettier next to flowers...

These were so simple, and looked great with the whole vintagey-garden feel of the wedding. And so inexpensive! I'm happy to share!

I'll share photos of the wedding next!

Come back and see me!

Wisdom

I'm on a hunt for some wisdom.

The blog might take a back seat for awhile.
