Get your Flower on...

Here's my second arrangement from floral design class to date. We had a ton of old flowers donated to us in boxes. My teacher piled a bunch in each of our buckets and made us include every single one in an arrangement. I don't think it turned out too terrible...

I'm learning I'm more drawn to simple arrangements rather than these with TONS of stuff going on. I think I would love for it to be just the Sunflowers, White Spider Mums, the green berries, and the greenish/yellow babies breath looking stuff. As you can tell I know all the technical names of my flowers ;)

Come back and see me!

  2. I love the fullness of it! Do they give you vases to work with or do you have to bring your own?

  3. They give us vases, but I usually switch to my own once I get home. For example, we made this one in a white plasic vase. It looks much better in glass!

  6. I love the lilies! The sunflower does look a little sad crowded in with its petals pushed up.
